Just got back to Berlin from my trip to Oman and Maldives and think I have a good excuse to be one day late with my weekly post. On our last day in Muscat we did some off-road-trip to the mountains to find a beautiful oasis like place with natural sweet water pools to swim in one hour from the city. On Tuesday we headed over to the Maldives and were welcomed by turquoise water, white beaches, dolphins and an amazing sunset. I got the chance to dive for the first time, drive a jet ski, see surfing world champions in action, go para-sailing in the middle of the Indian Ocean and get a surf lesson. I saw sharks and turtles while snorkeling at a reef, got to wear flowers in my hair all the time, flew with a seaplane, met Kate Beckinsale, went swimming in the ocean during a thunder storm and saw the biggest bats I’ve ever seen. This has been a once in a lifetime experience and I want to thank Four Seasons Resorts Maldives and Oman Air for inviting us on this amazing trip!
