The novel "The Shadow Of The Wind" by Carlos Ruiz Zafon shows some very special views on the city of Barcelona after the spanish civil war, with an extraordinary language and lovingly described atmosphere. Within my thesis I captured that atmosphere of Barcelonas past with the aid of pinhole photographs and experimental typography. On the following pages you can find a preview of the illustrated book, which will be finished in August 2010.
